Time to fly.

I heard about this from my dad a while ago when he showed me an email sent to him containing these facts. I was deeply disgusted by this. My God, what person in his or her right mind would eat a.. BABY?! And it's got limbs and a developed head at that! What's happening to the people of China these days? Are they really that desperate? You know, I'm not against abortion, but I think one has to have a valid reason before undergoing the process (i.e. mother's life is endangered because of pregnancy). And I have a big heart for baby's of any kind. Even this morning, when I cracked the duck egg that we're incubating in order to see/study the embryo, I felt sad for what I did to it.. :( But I never thought this inhumane action is actually possible. Eating babies.. very very disturbing.

A factory manager was interviewed and he testified that it is effective because he have tried it and is a frequent customer. Couple who would like to abort their babies, could just go to these local restaurants and sell the aborted baby for 2,000RMB (China currency). These local restaurants also accepts placentas for several hundreds if couples do not want to sell their babies.

It is very disturbing to mention that most fetus served in these local restaurants are female babies. This is due to the fact that majority of Chinese prefers to have male babies and those poorer families usually end up selling their female babies.
